Ticket & Event Purchase Terms

Version 2026-10-22

These terms apply to Members and Guests who register for an Event or buy a ticket on Unmapped, together with the Terms of Service and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Who your contract is with

1.1 When you register for an Event or buy a ticket, your contract for the Event is with the Organizer named on the Event page. The Organizer is responsible for the Event and for performing that contract.

1.2 WaveOrigin OÜ ("Unmapped") operates the platform on which the Event is listed and through which the ticket is sold. Unmapped is not the seller of the ticket and not a party to your Event contract, unless the Event page expressly states that WaveOrigin OÜ is the organizer.

1.3 Business or private seller. Before you pay, you are shown whether the Organizer has declared that they sell as a business — with the business's name and address and, where given, its registration number and VAT ID — or as a private individual. This is the Organizer's own declaration; Unmapped does not check it. Your order keeps the seller information that applied when you bought. If the Organizer is a private individual, consumer-protection rules that apply only to purchases from businesses do not apply to your contract with them.

1.4 Acceptance. Guests confirm, before registering or buying, that they are 18 or older and accept these terms, and are shown the Privacy Policy. Members agree to these terms by continuing to payment. We record which version was accepted, when and on which platform, together with your registration or order.

2. Age

You must be at least 18 to register or buy a ticket.

3. Registration types

3.1 Everyone — your registration is confirmed straight away (Free Events), or you can buy a ticket straight away (Paid Events), while places are available.

3.2 I approve — the Organizer reviews your request first. For a Paid Event, if you are approved you get a payment link: Members by email and in the app, Guests by email. Payment must be completed within 24 hours of approval, or before the Event starts if that is sooner. If you don't pay in time, your place is released and nothing is charged.

3.3 Guest registration questions. The Organizer may ask additional questions. People without an Unmapped account must answer the ones marked required; for signed-in Members they are optional. Guests on Paid Events answer them before checkout (Everyone) or with their application (I approve). Your answers are shared with the Organizer.

3.4 Guest access. The Organizer decides whether people without an account may register or buy tickets for their Event.

4. Price and payment (Paid Events)

4.1 You pay exactly the ticket price shown before payment; Unmapped adds no fee for you. Where the Organizer is registered for VAT, the price shown must include the VAT they owe.

4.2 Payments are made by card through Stripe Checkout and charged to the Organizer's own Stripe account. Stripe's terms and privacy notice apply to the payment. Unmapped never receives your full card details.

4.3 One purchase is one ticket for one person. While you complete payment, your place is held for 30 minutes.

4.4 If your payment completes after your place was no longer available (for example because the Event became full), it is refunded in full automatically.

4.5 Payment always happens through Stripe Checkout on the web, also when started from the Unmapped app. Tickets are not Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases.

5. No right of withdrawal

When you buy a ticket from an Organizer who sells as a business, you have no 14-day right of withdrawal, because the contract concerns a leisure service for a specific date (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding Estonian rules). The same applies to purchases from private individuals, for whom no statutory right of withdrawal exists. Your options to cancel are the Event's refund policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Refunds, cancellation and changes

6.1 Each Paid Event shows its refund policy before purchase:

  • Refundable until 48 hours before the Event — you can cancel your ticket until 48 hours before the start time and receive the ticket price minus the card processing fee Stripe actually charged for your payment;
  • Non-refundable — you cannot cancel for a refund yourself.

6.2 The Organizer — or Unmapped, for example in a dispute — may also refund your ticket voluntarily, including a non-refundable ticket or after the 48-hour limit; the same amount rule applies.

6.3 If the Organizer cancels the Event, you receive a full refund of the ticket price, whatever the refund policy.

6.4 Date, time and venue. Once tickets have been sold, the Platform does not allow the Organizer to change the Event's date, time or venue; if these must change, the Organizer cancels the Event (full refund under 6.3). For other significant changes, contact the Organizer; your rights against the Organizer under the law that applies to your contract are not affected.

6.5 Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe. When they appear depends on your bank.

7. Your ticket

7.1 Your ticket, with its QR code, is shown to Members in the Unmapped app and on the web (on the Event page), and to Guests on the ticket page linked in the ticket email. For Guests, the ticket link is the ticket — do not share it.

7.2 Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Reselling or transferring tickets is not supported.

7.3 At the entrance the Organizer can scan the QR code or enter the ticket code. A ticket can be checked in once. Refunded, cancelled or void tickets are not valid; duplicated or forged tickets are not valid.

7.4 Refusal of entry. The Organizer may refuse entry or remove a person only for a proportionate reason, in particular: an invalid or already-used ticket; not meeting a requirement that was clearly stated before purchase (such as the minimum age); safety, capacity or official instructions; or behaviour that endangers or seriously disturbs others. If entry is refused for a reason you are responsible for, you are not entitled to a refund unless the law provides otherwise. If entry is refused for any other reason, your rights against the Organizer, including to a refund, remain.

8. Your responsibilities at the Event

You attend by your own decision. Follow the Organizer's and the venue's rules and the law, and consider your health, fitness and insurance. Organize your own travel to and from the Event.

9. Liability

9.1 The Organizer is responsible to you for the Event, including its delivery, safety, venue, changes and cancellation.

9.2 Unmapped's liability is governed by section 10 of the Terms of Service. Unmapped is responsible for its own platform services (for example giving you access to your ticket and carrying out refunds triggered on the Platform), not for the Event itself. Liability that cannot be limited by law — including for intent, gross negligence, death or bodily injury and under data-protection law — is never excluded.

10. Complaints and help

10.1 Contact the Organizer first through the Event about the Event itself.

10.2 For platform problems (tickets, refunds triggered on the Platform, payment status) contact us at unmapped.co@gmail.com. Consumer dispute resolution: Terms of Service, section 13.

10.3 You can also raise a dispute about the card payment with your card issuer. A dispute about a valid charge may lead the Organizer to refuse future registrations.
