Builder
Build projects and ideas with people around you.
Builders regularly start and lead projects on Unmapped — community, creative, travel or social initiatives, or a start-up. Start and lead projects, find collaborators and build something together.
- Make your projects visible, and find collaborators and contributors.
- Take ongoing responsibility for the projects you lead.
- As a Builder, your projects go live without the review queue and you get Builder Tools for your team and requests.
Any member can start a project. Builder status is reviewed by the Unmapped team. Both require an Unmapped account.

Host
Bring people together.
Hosts create and host events, meetups and experiences — bringing people together through activities that matter to them. Hosts are members of the community, not Unmapped staff.
- Plan an experience or event, and share clear information in advance.
- Welcome the people who show up, and keep the atmosphere safe and respectful.
- Share feedback afterwards.
- As a Host, your events go live without the review queue and get more visibility.
Any member can create events. Host status is reviewed by the Unmapped team. Both require an Unmapped account.
Host and Ambassador are different roles
Hosts are verified event creators. Ambassadors are City Leads who take longer-term responsibility for an Unmapped city community.

Ambassador
Lead and grow an Unmapped city community.
Ambassadors are Unmapped City Leads. They represent Unmapped locally and take longer-term responsibility for growing and connecting the community in their city.
- Welcome new members and connect people in your city.
- Support local Hosts and Builders, and help coordinate activities.
- Work with the Unmapped team on local partnerships and what your city needs.
Ambassadors are selected by the Unmapped team. Requires an Unmapped account.

Core Team
Work directly on Unmapped itself.
The Core Team works on Unmapped itself, internationally and across cities: product, programming, marketing, operations and partnerships.
