Child Safety Standards

WaveOrigin OÜ (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Unmapped platform — including the website www.unmappedgroup.com and the Unmapped mobile application available on iOS and Android (“the platform”).

The safety of children is a matter of absolute priority. This policy sets out our zero-tolerance position on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), defines prohibited content, and describes the mechanisms we maintain to detect, remove, and report such content and the accounts responsible for it.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

We maintain an absolute, unconditional zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors. This policy applies to all users, all content types, and all features of the platform without exception.

Unmapped is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and over. The platform does not permit the creation of accounts by minors. Any account found to be operated by a person under the age of 18 will be terminated immediately.

Content or conduct that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) is never permissible under any circumstances, including but not limited to artistic, educational, or fictional framing. There are no exceptions.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on the platform:

• Any image, video, audio, text, or other material that sexually depicts, exploits, or abuses a minor, including computer-generated or digitally altered depictions (CSAM).
• Grooming — any communication, relationship-building, or manipulation intended to facilitate sexual contact with or exploitation of a minor.
• Solicitation of minors for sexual purposes, including through direct messages, public posts, event listings, or project descriptions.
• Sharing, distributing, linking to, or otherwise facilitating access to CSAM or CSEA content on or through the platform.
• Any attempt to identify, locate, or contact a minor for purposes of exploitation or abuse.
• Content that normalizes, glorifies, or promotes sexual activity involving minors, regardless of claimed fictional or satirical intent.
• Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting one’s age in order to engage with minors in a sexual or exploitative context.

3. User Reporting Mechanism

Any user may report content or conduct they believe violates this policy. Reports can be submitted through the following channels:

All reports are treated as confidential. The identity of the reporting user is not disclosed to the reported party. We do not penalize users for good-faith reports, even where an investigation concludes that no violation occurred.

4. Content Moderation Process

Upon receipt of a report involving potential CSAE or CSAM, we apply the following process:

1. Immediate escalation. Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse material or exploitation are escalated to our highest internal priority level upon receipt and reviewed without delay.
2. Interim access restriction. Where the reported content or account presents a credible risk of ongoing harm to a minor, we may immediately restrict access to the reported content or suspend the reported account pending the outcome of our review, without prior notice to the account holder.
3. Evidence preservation. Relevant content, account data, and associated metadata are preserved prior to any removal or account action, in order to support potential law enforcement investigations.
4. Content removal. Confirmed prohibited content is permanently removed from the platform. Removal applies to all copies, reposts, and references within the platform where technically feasible.
5. Account action. The account responsible for the content is subject to permanent suspension in confirmed cases. See Section 5.
6. Reporting to authorities. Where legally required or where circumstances indicate a risk of imminent harm, the matter is reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities and, where applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline or equivalent national body. See Section 6.

We aim to complete initial triage of child safety reports within 24 hours of receipt. The timeline for full investigation will depend on the complexity of the report and cooperation with external authorities where required.

5. Account Suspension and Removal

Any account found to have engaged in conduct prohibited under Section 2 of this policy is subject to permanent suspension and removal from the platform. Specifically:

• Accounts confirmed to have created, shared, or distributed CSAM are permanently banned. No appeal process is available for such accounts.
• Accounts found to have engaged in grooming, solicitation, or other CSEA-related conduct are permanently banned.
• Where a suspended account holder attempts to re-register on the platform using a different email address, device, or identity, we reserve the right to suspend the new account upon identification.
• Anonymized records of suspended accounts are retained for up to 24 months, or longer where required for ongoing legal proceedings, to prevent re-registration and to support law enforcement requests.

Account suspension for child safety violations does not entitle the account holder to any refund, credit, or compensation for any paid activities or features.

6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and competent authorities in investigations involving child sexual abuse and exploitation, to the extent required or permitted by applicable law.

• We will disclose account information, content, and metadata to law enforcement agencies where required by a lawful order, warrant, or equivalent legal process under the laws of Estonia or the jurisdiction of the requesting authority.
• Where we detect or receive reports of CSAM, we will make a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where required under applicable U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and to equivalent national reporting bodies in other jurisdictions as required.
• We preserve relevant evidence — including content, account data, IP logs, and communications metadata — for a period sufficient to support law enforcement investigations, in accordance with applicable data retention law.
• We do not notify account holders when their account or content is the subject of a law enforcement disclosure where doing so would be prohibited by law or would compromise an investigation.

7. Age Verification and Platform Access

Unmapped requires all users to confirm at registration that they are aged 18 or over. We do not permit the creation of accounts by persons under 18.

Where we become aware or have reasonable grounds to suspect that an account is operated by a minor, we will:

• Immediately suspend access to the account pending review.
• Permanently terminate the account where the suspicion is confirmed.
• Assess whether any interactions involving the minor require further action, including law enforcement notification.

9. Policy Updates

We review and update this policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements, platform features, and industry best practices. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via in-app notification or email.
